I discovered the hundred thousand kingdoms by N.K. Jemisin after hearing this podcast and was very glad I did. Thanks for the recommendation Saladin, it was a great book.

I definitely loved and appreciated this podcast for the week. I think the industry would do well to have a fresh crop of writers who can branch across non-traditional settings, and stories like the one Saladin described in the podcast have always intrigued me. I can’t wait until his book comes out and I thought he was a fine guest for the week. Very astute observations and reflections into the topic.
